Assessment & Findings

Anchovy holds the distinction of being the fastest classification in Bureau history. The case was opened in late June 2024. A meeting was scheduled. When the panel convened, all three members had independently reached the same conclusion before any formal deliberation began.

One panel member noted that scheduling the meeting at all had been “optimistic.” Another said “it’s a fish.” The third confirmed this. The meeting concluded in eleven minutes, including time spent locating a pen to sign the paperwork.

Anchovy is a fish. The record is the shortest of any Bureau finding to date. This is considered appropriate.

Panel Notes
“We all knew before we sat down. The pen took longer to find than the deliberation. The meeting was technically required by process. We had it. It took eleven minutes.”
